Yoshihiro Togashi’s Hunter X Hunter manga will resume in this year’s 43rd issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine on September 22. The series has been on hiatus since its 380th chapter debuted in this year’s 19th issue of the magazine on April 9.
The manga went on hiatus last September, and Togashi announced at the time that he planned to resume the series before the end of the year. The manga then resumed in this year’s ninth issue of Weekly Shonen Jump on January 29.
Shueisha published the manga’s 35th compiled book volume on February 2. Viz Media released the 34th volume in North America on March 6.
The manga inspired two television anime series; the latest one ran from 2011 until 2014. The manga also inspired two anime films and several original video anime titles.
The series is also inspiring a new smartphone game titled Hunter X HunterGreed Adventure. The 3D action role-playing game will launch this winter.
